Serious about the serious part

Diving is a sport with risks. That's why what you don't see —ratios, servicing, protocols— is what we care about most.

Before you go down

Do I need to know how to swim?

For a try dive you only need to feel comfortable in the water: the instructor holds you and controls your buoyancy. For courses we'll ask you to swim 200 metres non-stop (untimed) and float for 10 minutes.

What is the minimum age?

10 for try dives and Open Water (with parental consent), and 8 for snorkelling. There is no maximum age: what matters is your health.

Do I need a medical certificate?

Before diving you'll fill in a medical questionnaire. If you answer "yes" to any question (asthma, heart problems, recent surgery…), we'll need a doctor's sign-off before you get in the water.

I wear glasses. Can I dive?

Yes. Soft contact lenses are fine, and we have prescription masks from −1 to −6 dioptres. Let us know when you book.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If the sea isn't safe, we cancel and you can choose another date or a full refund. If you cancel more than 48 hours ahead, you get your money back in full.

What should I bring?

Swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen and water. We provide everything else. If you're certified, bring your card or your agency's app.

Can I fly after diving?

We recommend waiting at least 18 hours after multiple dives and 12 after a try dive. Keep it in mind when booking your last day on the island.
