A night walk through a mountain temple, rendered live.
The project
A five-chapter night walk through a fictional temple in the mountains of Kyoto: torii gates, stone stairways, a lantern courtyard, rain and a huge vermilion moon.
What makes it stand out
A single, continuous WebGL camera driven by scroll, with no cuts and an editorial reading layer on top. The scene builds itself as you arrive and comes apart as you leave.
