A second-hand record shop you browse like a crate.
The project
Online shop for second-hand vinyl and turntables in Las Palmas: filtered catalogue, product pages with each record's grading, basket, checkout with postcode-based shipping, customer accounts and an admin panel. A concept with fictional data and simulated payment.
What makes it stand out
React frontend with Tailwind and React Bits components, plus a custom PHP backend with a database (SQLite locally, MySQL in production). Stock is reserved in a transaction so no one can buy the same record twice, prices are always calculated on the server and checkout is ready for Stripe. Sleeves are generated in code and the record crate is browsed with the scroll wheel.
